Professor Ong was General Chair (2013-2015) of the ACM / IEEE Logic in Computer Science (LiCS). Taehyun Jung is a Professor at the Graduate School of Technology and Innovation Management at Hanyang University and is affiliated with the Division of Interdisciplinary Industrial Studies. He teaches courses in innovation strategy and theory, intellectual property rights, and entrepreneurship, among others. Before joining Hanyang University in 2013, he spent three years as an Assistant Professor at Lund University in Sweden and one year at the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research in Germany. He earned his Ph.D. from the Joint Public Policy Program between Georgia Tech and Georgia State University, USA, in 2009, with a dissertation focused on patent commercialization. He also studied Economics at Yonsei University and Physics at Seoul National University. His recent research interests include innovation systems, innovation in public procurement, innovation indicators and metrics, patent and commercialization strategy, and the dynamics of venture firms and venture capital.

Dr. Sabrina Ching Yuen Luk is an Assistant Professor in Public Policy and Global Affairs at NTU’s School of Social Sciences. She holds a PhD in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Birmingham, and has taught modules on e-government, healthcare, ageing, and crisis leadership. She is the leading contributor to the UNESCAP report on “Evolution of Science, Technology and Innovation Policies for Sustainable Development: The Experiences of China, Japan, Korea, and Singapore.” In 2019, she was invited by UNESCAP to train government officials on science, technology, and innovation policies for sustainable development. She was invited by Asian Productivity Organization (APO) as a resource person for a 2023 workshop on digital government on inclusive public service delivery and a 2024 Productivity Talk on digital innovation. In 2024, Dr. Luk gave training sessions on smart nations and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to Chongqing government officials and lectures on smart nations, artificial intelligence and digital innovation to undergraduate and graduate students from China. In summer 2024, Dr. Luk and her team members ran a two-day workshop on Effective and Ethical Ways to Write Literature Reviews Using Generative AI (GenAI) Tools. She has also co-authored a book chapter on Adaptive Governance in Higher Education, which examines ways to ensure the ethical and responsible use of GenAI tools and how the development of an adaptive governance framework can balance GenAI’s innovative potential with the risks it poses in higher education.

Professor Wilson Wong is the Founding Director and Associate Professor of Data Science and Policy Studies (DSPS) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, a senior research fellow at the School of Management, UCL, and a fellow at the Center of Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences (CASBS) at Stanford University. In 2024-25, he will be a visiting fellow at the Ostrom Workshop at the Indiana University Bloomington, and a research fellow at the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU). Previously, Professor Wong has served as a visiting fellow at the Brookings Institution and Harvard University. His primary research areas include AI and Big Data, social data science, digital governance, ICT and innovation, and disruptive technologies. Leveraging his expertise, he currently holds the position of Lead Area Editor at Data & Policy, a flagship journal published by Cambridge University Press focusing on the impact of data-policy interactions. Additionally, he serves as an associate editor at Springer Nature and PLOS One, and is a member of the editorial boards of the International Review of Administrative Sciences and the Journal of Asian Public Policy.
